The Kamloops Art Gallery is a registered charity and not-for-profit society. Financial contributions received from individual and business donations are an important part of the KAG’s private sector income and augment the public sector funding provided through government grants. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to realize the Gallery’s exhibitions and programs.
You may also make a donation to the Kamloops Art Gallery Endowment Fund. Endowed funds are monies placed in a fund with a trustee that acts at arms length from the owner of the fund. The capital is “endowed” (i.e., saved) in perpetuity. Earnings from the fund (interest, dividends, etc.) are disbursed to the fund owner. Once an endowment fund reaches the point where it returns significant earnings, the fund owner has greater financially stability, contributing to its long-term health. Obviously, the larger the fund, the greater the security.
You may want to consider planned or deferred gifts, such as a bequest, life insurance, publicly traded shares, property, and so on. Please contact the Gallery for further information or to discuss your plans. Your inquiry will be handled in a confidential manner.

Our monthly donations are being processed through the CanadaHelps website. It is a registered Canadian charity whose sole purpose is to process donations made to other Canadian charities through secure online payment options.
Setting up and managing your monthly pledge is easy and you can print copies of your charitable tax receipts directly from your account.
CanadaHelps notifies us of your generous support and deposits your donation directly to our bank account. They do charge a nominal 3% fee to cover the credit card and banking charges. This actually saves us processing fees and allows more of your donation to be directed to programming where it is needed the most!
Please note that credit card charges and tax receipts will read CanadaHelps not Kamloops Art Gallery but rest assured that your donation is being directed to the Gallery.
