The Kamloops Art Gallery's School Programs are designed for specific grades (K-3, 4-6 and 7-9). The program highlights the BC Curriculum to make it easy for teachers to apply KAG field trips to the classroom. A Teachers' Guide accompanies each exhibition, including in-class art making activities for each grade, references for further research and a glossary of terms.
Following a 45-minute interactive tour of the exhibitions, these 75-minute workshops explore the scientific principle of the persistence of vision through the creation of early animation toys.
Use this online form to submit a request for a school tour and workshop, or contact our Education and Public Programs Coordinator 250-377-2405.
