Ann Kipling drypoint

Ann Kipling has received wide recognition for her drawings which have been acquired by many public art museums in Canada, including the National Gallery of Canada, the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, the Edmonton Art Gallery, and many others.

Between the time she attended art school in Vancouver in the late 1950's until 1967, Ann Kipling executed some 160 prints, mostly using intaglio methods.

Once completely developed, this site will include essays on Ann Kipling's work as a print artist, the development of her prints and the various series encompassed by her prints. The site also offers a complete catalogue raisonné of Ann Kipling's prints.

With the exception of two works, all the works presented here are from a very generous gift by the artist to the Kamloops Art Gallery, as well as some purchases. Two travelling exhibitions have been derived from the collection.
