Celebrate wine in all kinds of ways! The Kamloops Wine Festival will host seminars, tastings, and special dinners paired with excellent wines will be featured at many of the best local restaurants. The festival culminates with the Consumer Wine Tasting at the Kamloops Convention Centre on April 13.

The 6th Annual Home Tour: Architectural Spaces fundraising event for the Kamloops Art Gallery will be heading for the hills again this year! The Kamloops Art Gallery has partnered with Sun Peaks to offer our Home Tour during Sun Peaks’ Wine and Culture Festival weekend. This is a must-see tour for those that appreciate fine architecture and interior design. Several local home decor businesses will be featured and the homes will be professionally staged. The ticket price includes a meal feature so you can make a day of it, choosing from a selection of six Sun Peaks restaurants, each with a different experience. Tickets for the tour and a meal are $40 +HST and available at The Gallery Store and Sun Peaks, in mid-June. Members and their families and friends are invited to join the local and regional artists, who have generously donated their works for the opening of the Art Auction Exhibition.
The Art Auction Exhibition is a two week preview of original works of art and other items on offer at this year’s art auction. Donated art works by local, regional and national artists are featured along with fabulous products and experiences donated by businesses in British Columbia and beyond. This display celebrates and promotes the work of many artists living and working in the Kamloops region. Again this year, pre-bids will be accepted during the preview exhibition, with the highest pre-bid amounts kicking off the bidding on auction night.
Mark your calendars for the Gallery’s premier fundraiser, featuring live, silent and mystery auctions of original art, experiences and products; live music; and delectable appetizers from At Your Service Catering, Kamloops Art Gallery’s official caterer. A limited number of tickets are on sale starting the first week of September at The Gallery Store. You do not want to miss this opportunity to acquire some great art and have a wonderful time while supporting the Kamloops Art Gallery.
