The full caption in the Onderdonk Album reads: Steamer Peerless used in constructing CP Ry - Little Shuswap Lake. The Peerless was launched by the Kamloops Steam Navigation Company in November of 1880. The sternwheeler was 131 feet long and she had engines that allowed her a speed of 18 knots. She required only 18 inches of water.
