One of the four new Baldwin locomotives purchased by Onderdonk in 1884, and landed at Port Moody on May 21, 1884, the 'Nicola' here is seen without the usual tender. The Inland Sentinel reprinted on September 4, 1884, an item from the Port Moody Gazette, describing an accident involving the 'Nicola.'
