In the Onderdonk Albums, the photograph is entitled 'Railway Hands being moved to new Camp near Spillamacheen,' and 'Steamboat Lady Dufferin used CPR Ry Construction — Eagle Pass Landing.'

The S.S. Lady Dufferin was launched in October of 1878 at Tranquille and owned by William Fortune. She was 90 feet in length, with a 16-foot beam, and drawing 9 inches of water.
