Excursion Train Above Yale, during CPR Construction
BCA Catalogue No. HP024951
BCA Call No. A-09251
During the construction along the Onderdonk contracts, there were a number of excursions organized by Onderdonk & Co., especially ones linked to public holidays such as July 4. The one held in 1885 is not described in The Inland Sentinel since the paper had ceased publishing in Yale on May 29, 1884 and only resumed publication two months later in Kamloops on July 31, 1884.
The same photograph is at the Vancouver Public Library (#387).
